What I will write in this blog | An Introduction

Updated: May 23

I've maintained a journal for years, documenting my thoughts and feelings. Much of my writing centers on my exploration of creativity's enigma, and I'm now ready to share my discoveries here.

To be specific, these are some of the things I’ll write about:

1. Things that have inspired my art.

I've been a self-taught illustrator since 2017, embarking on a journey to unravel the mystery of creativity and find endless inspiration. Beyond illustrations and painting, I draw influence and inspiration from varied forms and mediums, including music, viral videos, fashion, films, books, sculptures, and the fairy tales I read as a child. These serve as the wellspring for my imagination. Rather than providing reviews, I prefer to share the stories I uncover in these influences and how they ignite my work.

2. The people I’ve gotten to know, to study, and to learn from.

This could be a world-famous artist I admired and cherished when I was young. Their impact on me is so profound that it draws me back to the creative path whenever I contemplate quitting due to self-doubt.

They might also be innovative individuals from various industries and professions, such as entrepreneurs, writers, and inventors. I learn from their stories through reports, interviews, documentaries, and biographies, and I'll share what I've learned.

Lastly, they could be people I'm acquainted with and collaborate with. We engage in discussions on a broad spectrum of subjects, and they offer their unique and personal insights.

3. My own story

I'll also share insights into my personal journey towards creativity, which encompasses:

  • Gradual changes in my life routine and practices to enhance my skills

  • Efforts to understand my feelings and thoughts to spark my inner muse

My goal has always been to make creativity a lifestyle rather than a forced endeavor. That's why I named this blog LazyCreator - it's about creating better with less effort.
